Good to hear J. :aok:

Take it he will be on the bench.

Or is it code for "out for two weeks". :greengrin

Same XI as well for me but won't be surprised if Stubbs was to freshen things up with a slight change or two.

Wouldn't surprise me if he made a couple of changes.

Thomson for Fyvie perhaps and maybe give gunnarson some game time.

Would like to think if game is won he will bring off mcginn/Henderson to keep fresh for the Derby.

Expect stokes to get at least 30 minutes aswell.

3 points is a must!

I agree with this - although I 'm not sure we'll see Thomson pitched in. So I'll go with Bartley for Fyvie, McGregor for Fontaine and Keatings for one of the front guys (probably Cummings).

7.45 will no doubt show how little I know

Would imagine there will be a few changes for Morton game. Any Champman players knows you need to rotate when there's a midweek game!

Groundsman tweeted a few mins ago - all looking good.

The risk of a midweek game is surely injury rather than players not getting rest. ? The impact of 90 minutes tonight can be reduced by less rigorous training between now and the weekend. The prority is three points and the starting eleven and the bench should reflect that.

I agree. 3 points tonight and we'll be fine for Sunday. Hearts won't have played for a fortnight, so we may catch them cold

Might need to change one or two on account of the short period between the games, but I hope it will be as close to Saturday's team as possible. Really need to win tonight and hope Raith can help us out.

Haha :greengrin

We have a decent large squad and AS should be able to make use of it with fixtures in midweek, I can see 3-4 players being rested tonight but still keeping the team strong.

I'd be inclined to freshen it up in midfield and up front, bring in the likes of Bartley, Stokes, Boyle, Keatings in . Maybe McGregor at right back to give Gray a rest.

Anyone know when was the last time that Stubbs picked the same eleven players in two successive games. It feels like a long long time ago.

Got a lot of options and strength in depth. Starting XI should have enough about it to beat Morton. Get a few early goals and bring Stokes on for the last 30 minutes

Should be enough to win. Giving Hanlon, Fyvie and Cummings a rest with the derby in mind. Hopefully go a few goals up and take off McGinn/Henderson and Stokes as he probably will struggle to last ninety minutes today and on Sunday.

Strongest team available please. More important than the game on Sunday. And it's only one extra game anyway. Not as if we are playing weekend/midweek every week.

Definitely, plenty time for the players to recuperate before the game on Sunday. Put out our best team tonight, great performance, then carry that through to Sunday.

Didn't realise that The Rangers were playing away to Raith tonight. Probably wont happen but would be great if the Rovers turned them over. A draw would be acceptable.

Come on the Hibees.
