It's inevitable that these things happen to be honest.

I just hope that they have CCTV footage of these idiots and the culprits are made to foot the bill for any repair costs.

If what I hear is true, I think it's pretty deplorable and the people concerned should hang their heads in shame, as they've brought dishonor and severe financial penalties onto our club.

Some mindless idiots not only tore down a state-of-the-art three tier stand and hotel complex, replete with shopping and leisure facilities, but replaced it with a run down garden shed made of asbestos.

Yeah but the PBS is more like the clapped out banger that is clearly unroadworthy but keeps getting an MOT from dodgy Dave at the Garage. Everyone can see it's dangerous and it's an embarrassment next to the neighbours modern safe car but you try telling the owner of the rust bucket and he is clearly in denial, keeps banging on about the great noise it makes and how it's so crammed that he is basically sitting on the knee of the guys next to him.

:agree: Was thinking the yam in question might be a Time Lord and he went back a hundred years to when the historic, atmospheric old stadium was in its prime and asbestos was state of the art technology. Everything after then is wear and tear and lack of investment in maintenance.

I was one of the last to leave the Main Stand (section nearest SJ fans) and saw no damage to seats nor the concourse beneath. Someone had pulled down 2 or 3 poster ads (frames left intact) in the toilet, but apart from that, I'd say we left the place in the palatial grandeur in which we found it.
And, as this pic I took shows, it's HEARTening to see proof that it takes a thief to know a thief:

I think the boy in the pie kiosk shut-up shop early due to abuse and that's fair enough on his part, he doesn't need to stand and take it. But beyond that there was nothing in that section apart from a spilt box of sauce sachets for the pies....that weren't on sale.

If it's the main stand then a couple of eejits threw all the salt/sauce sachets to the floor and the kiosk shut up shop because of it, childish yes but wreck the kiosk nah.

On the other hand what smart erse stole the clock and scoreboard I'd rate that far more seriously?

Given who you clearly support, please don't make me laugh -

You have never had a friend, never mind a female one.

You are probably straight on the EEN forums right now tugging yourself senseless about how selling Sow is "A great deal for The Hawrts".

I'm concerned he's tugging himself over fantasies of spitting at 'young females'. Warped.

i had a friend a young female who was driving through Gorgie after the match. and she told me she had hibs fans rocking her car then more joined it with hitting her wind screen with a flag. when she got out her car they spat on her. animals! no longer can we clam to be better them. thanks for making me ashamed of my club.

Don't worry, I'd be ashamed to if my club were charity robbing, peado employers.

Nice try, now run along back to prickback :bye::jamboclow

Never posted before, now suddenly pop up with this haha? I smell a rat. A gorgie rat!

I had a good laugh at that too Greenblood. Obviously all the big teams honour their legends by building a greenhouse in their main stands.

About as much as I saw around Gorgie Farm, I noticed the air freshner as I passed the car, other folk started noticing it aswell to a few jeers but nothing like the poster describes, though not to say nothing developed further along Gorgie Road...

The boy's a Jambo giving his imagination a wee treat.

Everyone knows that when Jambos have "friends" who are "young females" the said "young females" aren't ever old enough to have driving licences.

And they've only ever communicated with them over the Internet.

I really wish people wouldn't be so quick to judge. I know Steven and I can personally vouch for the fact that he a dyed-in-the-wool, 100% Hibs fanatic. I was actually with him at the St Johnstone game.

I sat next to him and his kid sister in the third tier of the new stand and had to pull them both out of a gents toilet cubicle when supporters started banging on the door.

The girl was terrified.

Really. So Hibs fans would do that to a lone female and then spit on her.

That's made up.

I had a lot more than a couple on Saturday, at no stage did I feel the need to wear massive shoes or a big red nose, I don't think I stepped out of a car only for the doors to fall off either.

What about timekeeping? Did you have an outsized clock in your pocket?

some jambo at work the day moaning about that there was a fair bit of damage done to the stadium on saturday .??? i never seen any of this and truth be told it would be hard to damage the place much more than the state it is in .or is that there way of trying to get us to pay for the up keep of the place:greengrin:greengrin

Pay no heed. These characters assume that because the unsavoury institution they support embrace deceit, untruths and questionable behaviour it is acceptable for them to do so.

Hearts fans done it to my wife (then girlfriend) on her way to a derby back in the days so maybe he's just judging us on his own morals/standards.

Hitting the car with flags? Spitting? **** off.

I saw that too.

I was at the game with Angelina Jolie and Shakira and I have to say they were both pretty shocked at the incident ..... they would both be prepared to go to court if this comes to anything as would I. Oh .... please note, it would have to be before August though coz I start my astronaut training at the end of July.

It could be true. Jambos have lots of 'young friends'.

It's in the same camp as a chocolate teapot or a liquorice shoe-lace. A figure of speech for something useless or a daft idea.

Always had a concern whenever we're there that they'll torch the main stand after the match and try to bill us for a new one. Theres nothing beneath that lot.
