probably a maximum value if all clause conditions are met, doubt it's all up front

Regardless of what the fee is, I'm happy that Sow, Goris and King are not with them for Sunday. Three effective players not available to face us.

I don't know. The Chinese will maybe have to pay a premium to attract players to a country where the culture is vastly different to western Europe.

That'll be the fee Hearts want their fans to think/know.

Still no bids for the wonder kid Paterson?

My thoughts exactly. That fee won't be anything near that! It will be on appearances and goals scored. No chance they would pay that for a player they can sign for free come the summer.

I'd expect that to be more a matter to be dealt with in player wages. He is out of contract in six months. Paying £1m to get him now seems a bit over the top.

The weather's a bit blowy outside, can we not just close this transfer window now?

HMFC seriously weakened as it stands, the sooner the window closes the sooner I can stop worrying that Levein might manage to pull a rabbit (or in his case some kind of weird giant death robot) of his own out of the hat.

The rumoured £1.5 million has now dropped to £1million (Radio Scotland) so if we hang around long enough I'm sure we can negotiate the fee down to a modest £50,000 which would seem about right.

Chinese Laundry surely! :greengrin Ridiculous money if true but Arabs apparently got £400k for McGowan so it seems the Chinese haven't really worked our market out yet! Tommy Wright should be on the phone telling them about O'Halloran!

If only TB had been allowed to continue as manager and get his transfer targets in we would now be getting a million pounds for Sow.

Granted we would have been playing Airdrie in League One on Saturday but still.......

Gomes, Sow and King deffo out..maybe McGee too and so far no one in...it's lovely to see Jambos, scrapping around in the last few hours of the transfer window desperately trying to find someone to buy...reminds me of us in the bad old days ! Seemingly they are after Souttar at Dundee Utd but Looks like Mixu has told them to bolt.

Are the Chinese acting as agents for the rangers here?

Anything North of £50k is good business by the yam to be fair.

Defo, I'm not worried about Cowie that's for sure. Billy King going is the strange one for me. If Sow deal gets done as well and they didn't replace with better fans won't be happy.

Anyway good to see them rushing about for a change after ripping us every year for panic buys.

My take is that the 1m is the value of the contract to Sow, not Hearts. And isn't it Yuan in China - yen is Japanese.

It is indeed. Must be something like full contract value. There is no chance Sow commands a fee of £1m.
