Scarfs and flags are enough for me.

If everyone wore something green that would do. A sea of green and white.

Scarves and flags will suffice. The card display might look nice for the TV viewer but I want to be singing, see the team walking onto the pitch and wave my scarf or clap. Can't do that if you're holding up a piece of card.

Younger fans enjoy it though. I think they look great when done well.

I hate these things. I want to see the teams come out and not have to look at the back of a card.

The sunshine one was class but not sure if we need it. Although would help out gladly if asked to. Even the flags from crabbies looked impressive on tv

Personally I'd rather see everyone wearing something green. Cards have been done and while they can look good I'd rather we gave this a miss.

Either way though I'm just delighted to be in the final.

Wouldn't go as far as to say I hate them but tend to agree.

Part of the cup final experience is seeing your team walk out. When you are holding an A3 piece of card in front of you then you miss out on that.

How about putting green t shirts on every seat for one section, white for the next and so on. Everyone puts the t shirts on for the game. Would look class but probably a high-ish cost involved

I thought the flags in the 2012 was great. Wouldn't mind that but leave the card display out. Rather see the teams walk out onto the pitch instead of holding a piece of A3 card over my head

Would need to get everyone's size. Couldn't put an XS on a seat that is going to be occupied by an XXL

Just get all the one size. XXL for example. If it's too big who cares, it's no a fashion show

Card displays are yesterday's news. Green and white torn up paper/confetti - full blocks of green and white in alternate sections would be a relatively cheap and simple thing to do and would be a decent enough spectacle if all launched for teams coming out.

Putting on my marketing hat, you could get Marathon Bet involved with every Hibs fan given a placard with a random £1 bet on the reverse to hold up.

While it might be guerilla marketing, it get the sponsor involved (and gives the fans a bit of fun).

The t-shirt idea is amazing, looks amazing at basketball games. If marathon bet/the club got involved cost could be manageable.

Bang on. These things have run their course. Completely motivated by pissing contest one upmanship so those who care can gloat about other teams display efforts. TV camera whoring as well - do those that take part and get a view of the back of a bit of card as the teams come out ever get the full benefit of them??

Nope. Green and White, everyone in full voice supporting the team, end of story.

Doesn't need to be T-shirts. Could be cheapo cheapo ponchos. Then we could bring back the Mexican wave too.

I like the card displays if done properly with a big flag etc.

I also think the green and white streamers / balloons idea is good - though on the pitch the balloons like yesterday can be a nightmare.

Simple would be for the club to have a #GREENOUT campaign - everyone wear green. They do this in the USA at some sporting games and looks great. Bit like the Dutch all wearing orange at games.

Would both teams wear home strips in final ? Our green and their blue may clash like Falkirk!!

You obviously haven't thought that one through. Encouraging the kids to spend their pocket money.

These displays look amazing and really show the 11 players the sense of togetherness of the club

At the end of the day no fan will score a goal or save a penalty in this game. It's all about making the players who represent us feel 10 foot tall, superior to their opponent, backed by superb fans

A display helps with that

Count me very much IN!!

Likewise, I did my bit the last couple of times but I'd rather watch the teams come out. The three kids I will take will lap it up though.

Instead of leaving a t shirt or a card why not leave green or white hibs scarves at every seat. Seems the best way to get a good sea of green and white with everyone getting involved and pleasing most people.

Just get everybody in Green and White, I cant understand why anybody would turn up to support their team in a cup final without wearing something in the clubs colours, even if its just a scarf.

Forget the card display, too much work, done to death and lasts 5 mins.

Encouraging everyone to wear green makes sense and lasts the whole game. Hibs could arrange special League Cup Final T Shirt (at £5 each) for those who don't have a Hibs strip. Only prob is March in Scotland will be freezing !

When's the last time everyone wore green and white to a winter game? Snaw in March 07, snaw at the weekend. Everyone around me was wearing black, brown, grey and blue coats wi hoodies?

Not pissing on anyone's parade, these is just the realities of a cauld winter's afternoon at Hampden.

Agreed, might have to be flags & balloons. Only team the strip thing works well for is Celtic & SC Final in the May sunshine

Not seen that before. What a great display ! Works well because it goes right round the 2 stands and just the lower section and is well lit. Hamdump is big, dark and dingy.

Maybe Hibs could do something similar but only covering say the bottom 30 rows going right round 60% of Hampden ? Much easier, less paper, lower cost and less work... ?

The green poncho's idea would look fab. XL so worn over coat (Scotland in March). Put bookies name and great advertising for them. Get them from China for £1 each.

That is true.

In the NFL fans wear tips over jackets etc and then I guess people can take them off to go to pubs after etc.

Let's stay away from the balloons being blown around the pitch.

Streamers would be cheap and easy but would need to be better than the yams effort at the cup final as hardly noticed them.

I liked our crabbies flags - ideally green and white sections of them would be better than a card display.

We have an opportunity to do the best display the club has ever seen with so many fans going to the game - I hope it's done right with or without the clubs assistance.
