3 great goals. Cracking strike by Henderson, great play for the second and brilliant play by Keatings for the 3rd. On to next week now looking forward to it!

Oxleys starting position for their goal doesnt look too clever and Langfield makes a right mess of Hendersons goal by taking a step to the right.

At the game I thought it was a good goal by the Saints player, but the TV pictures show he was out of position and gave the guy acres of space to aim for

The Ox pretty much makes the guys mind up for him but we can't be too harsh as he's had a good season, we won the game and it gives him something to work on.

Noticed Lamgfield's feet movement. There's a video of Henderson's goal from the St Mirren end doing the rounds and I'm sure one of the Saints fans noticed it well as his commentary just after the ball went in makes it worth the watch! 😂

I'd actually say that was four great goals. Oxley's poor positioning helped but the St Mirren goal was a fantastic strike.

1 player in the wall jumped, if they all do we don't concede. They had a freekick in the first minute that the guy went to the goalies side, Oxley was correct to stand slightly further to his side and expect his wall to actually jump.

A 'right mess'? He moves very slightly prior to contact and wouldn't have saved it anyway. You should give credit for the great free kick.

That's right - was it the same player taking the free kick.

Maybe that's why Oxley was covering it a bit more.

Agree entirely.

If Oxley was a step or 2 over to his right and the guy beat him at his side then he'd absolutely deserce pelters. The goal has come at the walls side and when it's that close in if a player has the skill to get it up and down with a bit of pace there's always a good chance they will score.

There are a few different camera angles I've seen online of Hendersons Freekick - one from the away end - anyone able to link ?

Why is it that when I try to watch the freeview videos on my phone it only shows the first 20 seconds or so?

Something to do with having too many cookies from porn sites.

Hibs 3rd goal - a terrific pass from Lewis Stevenson to James Keatings who done really well to lay it on a plate for Stokes.

he moves a bit more than " very slightly". Its a well taken free kick but I reckon he wouldve got to the ball if he hadnt taken the step to the right, I think he thought the ball was gonna be heading for his nearside.

Same here. Cuts out after 15 secs. Annoying.

Maybe he did :dunno: I just dont think it qualifies as a 'mistake' by any reasonable measure.

I agree it is an excellent free kick, I think the wall could have helped him a bit by jumping together.
