Thought he had a very good game today and really made us tick at times. Made some good runs too into attacking areas which weren't always spotted by his team mates.

Excellent game should have got MOTM

He did have a very good game today but Henderson was rightfully MOTM imo.

Played very well that wee bit further forward today.

Thought Henderson deserved MOTM but Fyvie, and a couple of others, wasn't far behind.

Wasn't at the game today. Did the protection of having another DM in midfield allow Fyvie to play his game today?

Agree with others that he does not seem like a naturally defensive player.

He definitely had a bit more freedom today.

Tbh I'd be tempted to stick with that midfield next week as Bartley allowed the other 3 to go play. Obviously McGeough when fit is a 1st pick but the 4 who played today have staked their claim.

Quality performance! The whole midfield looked a better shape with Henderson in for Keatings.

A special mention for Hanlon too. Bartley allowed him to push on even. Hanlon was immense today.

I don't think there is any doubt Fyvie plays better when in the slightly more advanced role he had today, with Bartley sitting in.

Superb game! I shake my head at folks ive encountered who say he 'isn't a player' and 'slows us down'. A load of crap!

Well Fraser, last week and this, good level performances!

Thought he did well today. He was good last week against Falkirk as well. Looked better when he moved forward and allowed someone else to play that CDM role.

He was excellent today and some of the runs he made were superb. Must have been a tricky choice for MOTM. I think Hanlon was outstanding in the first half and very good thereafter and Henderson covered every blade, got a goal and showed some good skill. The reason we played so well might have been down to Bartley who gives us a presence and security in the middle of the park. Might have been cause Saints are pish too.

Sick of hearing people shouting this as well, guy screaming at Stubbs to take Bartley off for slowing the play down, he had just got the ball turned and passed to gray, not sure what he was wanting!

Thought Fyvie had a good game but Henderson shaded it. Henderson, Fyvie and Hanlon, in that order, were our best players today IMO.

Some folk just won't change their opinion about Fyvie, a guy next to me never stops screaming at him and Oxley. ..actually shouts goalie when the ball is on the 18 yard line. Thought fyvie excelled further forward today and wish Stubbsy would play Bartley more often too

I said in the other thread re Fyvie that he's not a defensive midfielder, he plays further up the pitch and buzzes around with bags of energy.
