Out of interest, is your missus being relocated or is she going to be unemployed as a result of this? Would imagine lots of people will suffer job wise when it closes.

She's with O2 and all their staff have been guaranteed jobs within 20 miles of the current location.
She's currently working her notice though so not an issue for her.

Good to hear but even 20 miles could pose a problem for some folk I guess.

John Lewis will remain open, the entrance via the St James will be closed so will only be able to get in through the other doors on leith street and the one up the side street. My mrs works there and is dreading it, a lot of the shoppers they get are from people passing through, with the other entrances closed they will lose a lot of foot fall.

Hope they're ready for the mass disruption of the rodent population :-)

So a letter was sent out from centre management today saying closing date has been moved back to mid April.

They should build new tenements like the old ones on Leith Street and re-open The Top Storey Club. :aok:
