Quite a battle going on in the SPL to stay out of the relegation playoff spot.

6 points separate 7 clubs. Dundee United look to have far too much to do to stay up.

From 5th downwards

Ross Co 30pts
Dundee 29
ICT 28
Motherwell 25
Partick 24
Hamilton 24
Kilmarnock 24

Who do you think will be in the playoffs?

Im thinking Hamilton or Partick

Dundee Utd will be alright when they come down but you have to fear for Hamilton/Kilmarnock/Thistle... if one of those teams go down via the Play-Off's I don't see them getting back into the top flight for a good while, like I say, I think Dundee United will be alright for one maybe even if its two years down in the Championship but thats it, its sink or swim in the Premiership now for these teams.

Good result for Dundee Utd today and I hope Mixu can pull them off the bottom.

I've a gut feeling that we could meet Utd in the play-off.

I would be very surprised if we did. Would like to see
Killie go down mind you.

I think it will be Hamilton in playoffs with Dundee Utd going down in last place. Hope Mixu turns them around though, good player for us and didnt do a bad job as manager either.

I wouldn't worry as we will win the league.

Would rather play Killie than Utd in any playoff to be honest. Can't see it either way to be honest.

Dundee Utd won't get off the bottom.

They're much too far behind.

No danger Dundee Utd will survive - they're awful - Mixi's inherited a busted flush and today was a one off result for me. They're awful to watch. They'll go down, Hamilton will be the play off competition !

If a team goes on a run like we did...

But agree Utd are down. Between Killie, Hamilton and Partick.

I'd love to put Hamilton down tbh. But I'd like an away day at Killie...

Falkirk will play against Hamilton, after they beat the huns.

Doncaster is already talking about reconstruction.Play-offs might be meaningless...

Mouthpiece from Alloa on radio today reckoned reconstruction was booted to 2017 at earliest. He was in the 42 team meeting this week. Also more or less admitted safety at games was paramount - let's get the flares out- and was less worried over chants. Wonder how that investigation into the singing at Ayebrokx will work out.

If we end up in the play-off and face Dundee Utd it will be tough as they'd be on a great run to have made up the points to finish 11th. I think Falkirk will be as tough as any Prem team in the play offs. I really could do without that lottery to be honest.

Leeann came out the other night and said it wasn't happening.

If we need to play off, I would like to see us play a team who were gradually dragged down the way. United would be dangerous because their tails would be up if they swerve last place.

Think if we got any of them I would be confident. We should have been through v Hamilton until that bleached blond dingull made a hash of the clearance...... and we fell apart.

My point is - this Hibs team v a disheartened and worried 2nd bottom mob? Not in doubt.

Won't matter when we come first.

Untied won't survive they are too far behind. But it could be any of the rest even ICT are not safe. Winning the right to play them will not be easy for any of Hibs, Rangers or Falkirk. I've got the feeling it will be us v Killie.

If we don't win automatic, relegating Killie on our way up is the next best scenario.

I wonder if that phanny Locke or any of his hangers on will be doing that stupid hand signal this morning?
