Certainly time to give Keatings a rest. He's been poor last two games. Drop him for Henderson

After his last 4 or 5 performances I wouldn't have Fyvie anywhere near my team but Stubbsy knows best.:gwa:

I'd probably drop fyvie as well and put in Bartley. Fyvie just not been doing it for me recently. But each to their own

I thought Fyvie was pretty effective in protecting the defence today. I would be dropping McGinn before Fyvie on today's evidence.

Definitely more dangerous and industrious with Henderson on the park - Keatings / Fyvie to give way for me

truehibernian

I'd have Malonga and Stokes on bench - thought Dagnall did well last two games and allows JC to be a poacher - he ties up centre halves, thought even for the short time he was on he made a positive impression. Dom was awful today.

4-4-2, midfield of McGinn, Fyvie, McGeouch and Henderson.

Fyvie's been a bit prone to error recently, but I still think we look better with him than without him.

Personally though I would like to see Boyle start. I don't think McGinn/McGeouch/Henderson are very effective when they have to play out wide.

Was very surprised Boyle didn't feature - in all games last season and this they struggle against his pace.

I wonder how Stubbs will approach Stokes, with him not having played for while. Id also like to see a bit more of Dagnall. Would be keen to a see a system that accommodates three forwards.

Not really liking the Diamond midfield, were far to narrow. I would like to see us change to a 4-2-3-1

Sure it was August or September. Long time but it's just the championship - he'd manage 60 minutes.

And another thing - Fyvie would be better sitting it out for a bit, then we'd all be able to rave about him and wonder why he's not in the team.

Like what's happening with Bartley.

Fyvie was good today - I think he needs to impose himself from the start more but he played well. Still think Oxley deserves praise - I'm a critic but he pulled off two fantastic saves today.

I like the look of Dagnall at this level and he looks fit and sharp match wise - I'd play him and Jason. Would be a St Mirren's defence nightmare if we are doing well and Stokes, Malonga and Keatings come on last half hour !

I agree the temptation will be there but getting him match fit for the derby is key for me.

Would actually like to see Hibs try and dominate the midfield and control a game to many teams get to many sniffs at goal it's proven in our recent results to we haven't scored enough. The 3 strikers ain't working or one just behind whatever way you look at it.

Yeah pretty sure you just need to be named on the bench in a cup competition to be cup-tied for the rest of the season. You don't actually need to play.

Although I can't see this rule stated anywhere on the SPFL site.

Oxley, Gray, Mcgregor, Hanlon, Stevenson, Bartley, McGeouch, McGinn, Henderson, Stokes, Cummings.

Bench: Reguero, Fontaine, Gunnarsson, Fyvie, Boyle, Malonga, Dagnall.

Incredibly strong bench for this level, even keeping out Keatings, with Carmichael and El Alagui (possibly) to come back we have a very strong squad which should see us able to see of Fakirk and possibly Rangers in the run-in.

Not according to rule 14 of the SFL. It states ``The players in a team may be changed from match to match, but a club may not play, or list as a named substitute any player who in the same season, has already played, or been a named substitute for another club in the competition.

Sorry I was unable to copy and paste the article,

Fyvie
Bartley

Big Malonga fan but sometimes he can be more effective off the bench.
Think Dagnall and Stokes will work brilliantly together. Both very intelligent players and Ieel with Dagnall occupying their defenders it will create lots of space and chances for Stokes and Cummings.

Also don't feel the need for a sitting midfielder at home to St.Mirren.
