Considering they've had more penalties than most of the rest of the league combined, I see no reason why somebody shouldn't be asking questions. Do you reckon nobody at Septic would be asking questions if the Huns were competing with them to win a league and were getting this many penalties...?

I suspect there's an element of some teams running up the white flag when they lose an early goal when playing the Ibrox club.

As much as I despise them, they are hitting teams early and hitting them often.

They could get 10 penalties a game but if we don't win our games against them and all the other teams it would make no difference, we wouldn't win the league. How many of these penalties have decided games? They are beating teams comfortably without penalties anyway.

Agree.
We have only faced one team with the kind of attacking aggression and energy that Hearts bring (the Huns). We didn't deal with that particularly well, but hope lessons are learned. I think first half is just about keeping it tight and denying them space and momentum. Second half go for it a bit more, but a replay at Easter road would be a decent result any case.

I just hope the back room team think this one through properly.

I'm afraid I have to agree again. Generally, they are handing out many more hammerings than Hibs. Stokes will need to score an awful lot of goals if and when he joins Hibs. :greengrin

Hibs just have to try to keep winning matches and see how things pan out.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm not trying to make them out to be world beaters. They are far from that, otherwise they wouldn't be playing in the Scottish Championship.

Even "world beaters" like Barcelona or Bayern Munich don't win every match by a cricket score. My point is simply this - the Huns are handing out more hammerings to teams in this league than Hibs are.

same number we started today (Oshinawa wasn't even on the bench, Zanata (Canadian) and Juanma were on the bench)
No we didn't start with 5
We started with 3 Scottish born plus one English born who qualifies for Scotland
We couldn't get an experienced quality player like Rossi
Rossi or Djoum so I am more than happy

Who is the English born player who qualifies for Scotland?

We had similar a few years back with Fletcher (think his dad was in the forces)

Hopefully he won't get anywhere near a Scotland 1st team jersey.

What does it matter how many Hearts players are Scottish?

They won 6-0 yesterday and are currently in 3rd place. I'd imagine their Fans would be happy if all their were players were Martians.

Only because the players would then look more like the fans.

This has been done to death - if you play the way they do, running at speed with the ball into danger areas, you get penalties.

I have not seen enough 'dodgy calls' (for either team) to suggest there is anything genuinely going on.
Do you want to discuss today's 'dodgy call' Green Day ?

Now tell me there is no agenda
