USING NUMBERS IN EVERYDAY LIFEWhere? Hibernian Learning Centre, South Stand, Easter Road
When? Wednesday afternoons from 1-3pm
What will I learn?
This is not a taught course. You will be supported in working through chosen topics such as basic numbers, money, tables and charts. The numerical skills will be applied as far as possible to everyday situations such as working out what a 10% reduction means or how much wallpaper to buy.
How will the session be organised?
Students can attend for between 1 and 2 hours. During this time there will be some individual support and some small group work but you will need to be able to work at your own pace using workbooks and maths websites doing quizzes and games.
What will you achieve?
Initially this course is non-accredited and students will receive an attendance certificate. However, there may be a possibility of students enrolling on an SQA Core Skills Numeracy certificate in the future.
