Looks like after signing Conor Mcgrandles on loan, they are close to what could be a very good signing. Fair play to them, they're certainly gonna have a go at us and Rangers.

CHAMPIONSHIP title contenders Falkirk are set to buy prolific East Fife striker Nathan Austin.
SunSport Online understands Austin - 16 goals this season and 14 last campaign - will sign for the Bairns within the next 48-hours for an undisclosed fee.
The highly rated 21-year-old - currently under contract until May, 2017 - is excited about going full-time after excelling under the managership of former Scotland star Gary Naysmith.

It will be a coup for Falkirk boss Peter Houston with several Premiership teams having trailed hot-shot Austin who joined the Fifers in 2013.
Houston has worked magnificently to guide his side to second behind Rangers, with only a three point gap from the Light Blues. Falkirk are ahead of Hibs on goal difference.

fellow league challengers Hibernian will cuff Falkirk and Houston will hae the dry boak, at his coup in Falkirk on Sunday when Hibs rattle in a few in front of a fantastic away support.

Have been severely unimpressed by them in our previous meetings this season. Sure we'll win on Sunday.

They were exactly the same last season. Looked poor every time we played them but they invariably got the result they wanted.

It wont really be an easy test for us, but I watched most of Alloa v Bairns a couple of weeks ago and the Falkirk defence were a wee bit lucky to get away with it. bad weather, poor plastic pitch, but same for both

Falkirk will play their usual 10 man defence when we have the ball and wait for a lucky break, set piece etc. We have to be in their faces from the start, hopefully get an early goal which immediately scuppers their plans. Let's face it, Houston studied under Harry Potter at the Arabs and at best is only a poor imitation with less resources and fewer hammer throwers. Grudgingly they're doing OK, but they will never be as good as us as we will see round about the seasons end.
