Looks like after signing Conor Mcgrandles on loan, they are close to what could be a very good signing. Fair play to them, they're certainly gonna have a go at us and Rangers.
CHAMPIONSHIP title contenders Falkirk are set to buy prolific East Fife striker Nathan Austin.
SunSport Online understands Austin - 16 goals this season and 14 last campaign - will sign for the Bairns within the next 48-hours for an undisclosed fee.
The highly rated 21-year-old - currently under contract until May, 2017 - is excited about going full-time after excelling under the managership of former Scotland star Gary Naysmith.
It will be a coup for Falkirk boss Peter Houston with several Premiership teams having trailed hot-shot Austin who joined the Fifers in 2013.
Houston has worked magnificently to guide his side to second behind Rangers, with only a three point gap from the Light Blues. Falkirk are ahead of Hibs on goal difference.
