If our allocation is 11500 and the amount of supporters on 90 points plus is 10000, then there's no panic and there should be a few for those with 1 point (the next wave).

I'm getting in early tomorrow though as I don't want to be left with the main stand upper as my only option.

If there are 10,000 fans on 90 points plus then I don't understand why they weren't included in the first wave when there are 11,500 tickets available.

Or am I being thick?

I'll be in the last wave. Will I be limited to how many tickets I can get?

I fall under tomorrow's category and think it was done just to give the guys on the higher end points quite rightfully a bit more priority.

Probably so season ticket holders get their choice of stand. I personally wouldn't have wanted to be stuck in the asbestos stand so I'm glad to get more of a choice in the first wave.

I know what you're saying and I suggested on another thread that that may have been the reason. So there can only be 2,000 in this wave who qualify for a ticket and if the same percentage (about 70%) buy a ticket then there will still be about 4,500 seats available for the next wave of one point plus.

I may be completely wrong and if I am then maybe someone could let me know. Cheers.

I think your theory is right, but I'd imagine that a number in the first wave will be waiting for friends/family in the second wave and that almost the full 10,000 will be gone by Monday morning.

So around 6000 tickets sold from a possible 8000.

I think that they majority of fans in the first wave would have bought their tickets so that they could avoid having to sit in the Asbestos Stand and at the same time get the best seat that they could. I still think that there will be about 4,000 tickets available when they are offered to fans on one point plus. I can't see there being a General Sale as there will be 10,000 fans scrambling for 4,000 tickets. Anybody in that wave will probably have a 50/50 chance of getting a seat.

If you're lucky you might be able to get seats together in the Wheatfield but they will probably be in the end sections nearest the Gorgie or Roseburn Stand. You could always log in tonight and see where you could get two seats without competing the purchase.

Good luck. :aok:

If you don't have sufficient points it doesn't let you choose. Tried that earlier!

That happened to me last Wednesday. 2 sections said couldn't get 21 tickets, 3rd section took me to my basket & BOOM 63 tickets in my basket :greengrin

Had to let the timer run out as the ticket site was running that slow with all the traffic

It wasn't sold out an hour or two ago. Availability in the end block (think its A next to the Gorgie) upper and virtually all the lower blocks (if you can call them blocks).

In the Gorgie myself.

C,D and E sections are sold out according to the website. Get tickets in T2. Main stand lower. Not a bad view there.
