Surprising especially as kids are free. Sure we will see late surge tho

You have to remember though, it's been an expensive month for tickets. Raith Rovers, Falkirk, St Johnstone, Hearts will be on sale soon closely followed by Livingston

I agree, posted about it myself recently. Still expect a sell out towards end of week

The Falkirk game is the biggest on that list.

Hopefully mate, we need as vocal a crowd as possible to see the players through this. Possibly our toughest game of the season.

I don't disagree with that, however the fact it is on TV may have swayed people to not buy tickets as they'll still get to see the game.

I'll be there but can understand why people may settle for TV with the amount of tickets on sale recently

I was very much in the "skint so will save money for the 30th and watch on tv) until after the Raith game and decided I was going.

What's parking like at the Falkirk stadium? Is there plenty in the surrounding areas?

It looks a bit isolated.

Isn't it permit only? Far easier just to park on one of the nearby streets.

Plenty free parking in the Industrial estate just 5 mins walk from the ground.

Free and easy a few mins from ground or you can go to car park.

Was impressed last season with the easiness to get to and parking / decent seat / view etc.

Only minor moan is they only have 3 stands which is a bit odd when watching the game - wrap up warm!

Just a reminder, in our last 4 games at the Falkirk Stadium any unsold ticket ARE NOT ON SALE at the ground so if you want to go you will need to purchase in advance.

I hope this changes though as folk sometimes don't find out if they can make it until very late in the day.

The stand is split into sections (A being closest to the main stand) - depends whether you want to be central or just to the side.

A
B
C
D
E
F

Hope that helps - here is a pic which may help also - Hibs fans are in north stand - (ignore the standing / stage bit as it's for a concert).

Should be a decent atmosphere - lets get the 3 points!

Falkirk have been selling tickets for all of the South & West (main) stands so there's no overspill available for Hibs fans.

The police only allow a 50/50 split in the main stand for the bigger games and as Falkirk were confident of selling more than 50% of the main stand then it meant Hibs could only get the 2000 capacity North stand.

Well done Hibs fans once again making a decent effort to support the team. Will be good to see a full away end on TV.

It seems Falkirk have had higher demand for this due to their current run which is fair enough so taking the extra seats and limiting less Hibs fans. Though on the Falkirk forums - they said they have 1500 left in home end.

It is a bigger game. What I meant was that for some of the smaller teams the police allow one or two sections of the main stand to be given to the away team. For bigger games the police insist on 50/50 or all Falkirk.

As FFC thought they'd sell enough tickets to justify keeping it they did just that.

Falkirk tweeted earlier that there is 1300 left between the 2 home stands. 300 left in the 2000 capacity South stand and 1000 left in the 4000 capacity main stand.

Id guess between today's sales and tomorrow's (up to 12noon) they will make a further dent in those numbers. We have already sold more home tickets than the Rangers match in December, probably due to the run and also it's not against one of the ugly sisters.

We had 4200 home fans versus Rangers whereas there will be 5000+ home fans tomorrow. Plus the sold out away end.

I'm glad the Falkirk fans are coming out for this one - would be good if they could keep these crowds up. Obviously challenging of the league and beating Sevco helps.

Hopefully sells out as it will look better on TV and generate a good atmosphere.

Do rangers not get half the main stand? No reason they couldnt have given us tickets if they had wanted to.

Yes they have previously however as we thought we could sell them to our own fans for this game then that's what we did. I'd like to hope we'll do the same to Rangers in February if we are still in the mix.

2 sections next to the away stand. Not 50/50. Here may of course be currents in the home support.

Sounds like it's gonna be a good size crowd.

The rule on giving tickets to Away Fans in the Main Stand sounds fair enough. Need to take care of the Home Support as a priority.
