The Scottish Parliament are due to debate a 'right to buy' of football clubs by fans. There is a consultation if anyone wants to have their say.

If that is too much, here is a simple 1 question: I support a football fans' right to buy their football clubs because ....

I just wish politicians would stay away from football, they rarely have any true understanding of the game or the fans.

Saying that fan ownership of football clubs is a good thing is a bit like saying that four holidays a year is a good thing. Not everyone can afford it though.

We already have fan ownership of hundreds of clubs.

Amateur clubs.

What about politicians who are also fans, of which there are many??

It's when they decide that what the game needs is more legislation I worry.
See the discussion about the offensive behaviour at football act as one example. Well meaning but totally useless.
