Just wish the new video technology was in place before then. Wouldn't want any erm...unfortunate refereeing decisions going Hearts way as they usually do at Tynecastle.

Maybe we want to keep Forster for this one then?

TBH if we take them on at their own game they'll probably win, they're used to playing Leveinball.

Keep it on the deck, pass it round them, hope we get a decent ref who punishes foul play and we'll win.

We're playing a team in a league above us and go in as underdogs.

Stubbs will be saying we the same as me.

300 upwards I would suggest

Higher depending on the allocation - this was the Ibrox breakdown

10am Monday 7th December: 411+ points (circa 800 supporters)
10am Friday 11th December: 360+ points (circa 4500 supporters)
10am Tuesday 15th December: 180+ points (circa 7600 supporters)
10am Friday 18th December: General Sale

Suppose the game could be on at 12.15 on the Saturday if the egg chasing doesn't start until 5.15.

Plenty time for the football supporters to be away before the rugby fans arrive.

Looking at that the first wave will be around 400 points. Or possibly over that given half season ticket points have now been allocated as well.

Not a chance of that happening. The beer swilling rugby fans will be out in force well before our match is over.

It will be the Sunday at the ridiculous time of 12.15 or 12.30pm.

This is a 2015/16 fixture so 2015/16 ST's should be in the 1st wave of tickets allocated so 180 points and above 1st. Sold on a First come, first served basis. 179 and below if any left after a week. General Sale if any left after another week.

Which is a sensible cut off imo. 350/360+.

Tynecastle usually goes to general sale, obviously this is a bigger game than usual but everyone in the top bracket won't be able/want to attend.

As an aside Hibs should be looking into a bean back to BTG of possible. £2 to get in and get the bar open and it's a money spinner imo.

A bean back. :greengrin

I recall a beam back quite a few years ago at BTG. Think it was a couple of quid entry fee and was against Hearts. Maybe it was a league game and could be as long as nine or ten years ago. There was some clown (no not Zibi) who had obviously had a few too many and kept jumping up and blocking our view of the screen.

Here is the rule -

41. Tickets for SaleFor any match to which admission is wholly or partly by ticket or by cash admission atthe turnstiles, the visiting club shall have the right to claim admissions up to 20% of thespectator capacity of the ground, in which case the supporters of the visiting club shallbe accommodated in an area of the ground which is agreed by both clubs and the Policeauthorities after having taken cognisance of the Safety at Sports Ground Act, 1975, whereappropriate. The exercise of such right shall be subject to the following conditions:–(a) Except in the case of a replay the right is exercised within three days of the date onwhich the ballot is made.(b) In the case of any replay, the right is exercised immediately after the drawn game.(c) The visiting club shall be responsible for payment of all tickets asked for andallotted.(d) The visiting club shall ensure that any tickets which are not required, together witha remittance for the total allotment, are in the hands of the ground club at leasttwenty-four hours before the time of kick-off.(e) If any of the tickets which are so returned are subsequently sold, an appropriaterefund will be made by the host club. The tickets which are allotted to the visiting club, if numbered and for reservedpositions, shall be equal in position to those retained by the host club.

The 20% is pretty much exactly what the away stand behind the goals holds so we will get that and none of the death trap stand.

20% is about 3,400 so they won't be segregating it because if they did there wouldn't be any seats left for them. In fact there wouldn't be enough seats to segregate. Hopefully you can follow what I'm saying.

Doubt there will be a beam back or any real call for it, the game is a dead cert to be Live on TV.

Really excited about this game, I think we have a team with real potential and going places but it is inevitable that until we are back in the top flight these type of games are a benchmak.

We beat Aberdeen when they were the form team in the Country, no-one since has had near they run they were on so I'd say we should go there full of confidence.

Not read through the thread but looking at the draw as a whole, if we can get past hearts into the last 8, the other 7 teams will be:

Motherwell / Stirling Albion - most likely Motherwell
Celtic
Dundee United / Partick
Dunfermline / Ross county / Linlithgow / Forfar - Ross county probably
Rangers / Kilmarnock
Annan / Morton
Dumbarton / Dundee / Falkirk

Maximum of 6 top flight teams, 1 or 2 top 6 sides, however apart from Celtic I would be confident against any of them! The draw really opens up if we can get through and really give us a massive chance of getting back to Hampden in April.

This game will be a massive test of our sides mettle! If we stand up mentally I have no concerns about the two sides ability wise! We more than match them in that department
