Any initial thoughts on Dagnall and Gunnarsson?

How did they do today?

Cliff said that Dagnall was a candidate for MOM

Dagnal looks very good. reminded me of Scott Macdonald. Never stopped running and harassing defenders. Always on the shoulder of the last man.

Exactly what we've been lacking

Dagnall was lively, harried all day and made some good runs that weren't picked out. Never MotM though.

Gunnarson was a good bit of the pace so will reserve judgement on him.

Dagnall hustle harried and made loads of good runs in behind!

Gunnarson didn't look match fit so will wait another couple of games.

Both did OK, but it's too early to judge either of them.

Dagnall looked good, Gunnarsson not so much.

Still early days.

Impressed with Dagnall as I though he wouldn't last the 90. Obviously been keeping himself match fit. Gunnarsson was a bit suspect though and it was no surprise to see him hooked.

Gunnarsson picked up an injury but looks like he could do better once he adjusts to the Scottish game. Dagnall could have had 2 goals, would agree with the Scott McDonald comparison

Didn't see too much that was suspect about him. Looked okay and he did have one chance to stick in a long throw which caused some bother. Needs a it of time to adjust though I think.

Thought they were both a bit off the pace today. First game so its understandable.

Gunnarsson looked off the pace. Dagnall looked like he'll be a good signing.

I thought they both did ok but we missed Cummings movement and work rate.

Dagnals movement was good but he was caught on the ball a few times looking for more time. He'll do just fine when up to speed. Gunnarson didn't look sharp at all. Early days.

McGreggor is maybe a bit miffed at being left out for a new guy who's just arrived and isn't up to speed yet. If so then he certainly responded in the best way possible after coming on.

Dagnall was trying like a bear to score on his debut, and to be fair to him he picked his spot on a couple of occasions only to be thwarted by a raith defender. He needs to get off his heels in anticipation of the ball at times, but a good debut.

Gunnarsson was laboured, but passed the ball well enough. Only one long throw, but at least we seen it. His time will come when he gets up to speed.

Well done lads, a winning start. Long may it continue.:aok:

Gunnarsson started well but got caught a couple times and didn't look match fit. Too early to judge him.

As for Dagnall, he was very lively today and never stopped harassing the Raith defenders - something which we have been severely missing imo.

Thought gunnarson got caught too far up the park a few times but its just his first game so i'll reserve judgement. Dangnall tried like a bear second half. Unlucky not to score. Thought he was starved of any decent service first half.

Dagnall ran around, Gunnarson looked a bit too Scandinavian to me.

How does a Scandinavian look footballing wise?

Like Henrik Larsson maybe?
