What's their starting XI? Saw an article earlier that had a bunch of names that sounded mostly like FM regens!!

Looking forward to watching.

No matter what people say about them being devalued or whatever you just can't beat a national cup competition. The support we take away in the cup is testament to that.

Former Falkirk keeper in goals for Exeter. Very young Liverpool side, wonder if we'll see a shock.

Klopp imo showing complete disrespect to Exeter and the competition. But even more so to the many Liverpool fans who will have travelled to Exeter.

Shocking team selection. Hope they get hammered.

Respect has nothing to do with it, he has picked a team he thinks can do the job without risking any further injuries. It's disappointing for supporters who would rather see regulars but the manager has a job to do and the mounting list of injuries is of major concern.

Why the **** do English teams play the young team in the cup? The fans love the competition and turn out in good numbers, only to be cheated by their clubs. Some of these clubs and managers are so far up their own arse it's unreal.

Eleven first team players and five under 21 players injured or a few days away from a return

Dont wet yer knickers about liverpool playing their young team. They have a massive pool and a fantastic academy. **** them. Klopp took a chance. Disrespected exeter and got what he deserved. Dont take anything away from exeter. They were fantastic and probably would have pumped most scottish teams with that performance.
Well done exeter.

They could still have fielded a stronger team. Played reserve goalie that's already had a howler at Watford, Lucas and Lallana on the bench, Joe Allen needing game time. They have a shocker of an injury list, but a much stronger team will be picked to face Arsenal.

Not commenting on Liverpool last night but it's a problem across the FA Cup and has been for year now, EPL teams just don't value it enough to risk 1st choice players.

I actually understand that with the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal (maybe not so much latterly) but it bemuses me a bit with teams like Stoke and Southampton. Surely winning a trophy is worth more than a couple of places of mid table mediocrity.

It was about not getting any more injuries, there is absolutely no doubt he could have played more regular players but chose not to as further injuries would be disastarous.
