Been asked if I fancy the hospitality for the semi-final £99.00 + VAT. But who gets the cash ?

It'll be Hibs and St Johnstone won't it? Stadium is hired for the event and a flat fee paid to hearts. Rest after other costs would go to us and St Johnstone wouldn't it?

Isn't semi income usually split evenly between the 4 clubs involved?

After 25 % ( I think ) deduction for ground rent to Hampden and the yams.

Got a feeling Hospitality will be treated separately to normal gate receipts.

£20 for a ticket, What else do you get for the outstanding amount of £79?

Don't like giving them cash at the best of times, but to give them £100 plus turns my stomach.

You'd better take a head torch as the lightbulbs up Gorgie way aren't up to much according to the shareholders

"The Gorgie Suite will be 100% Hibernian on Saturday 30 January, with hospitality available to supporters looking to make a day of the Semi Final of the Scottish League Cup presented by Utilita"

That to me would suggest that any hospitality purchased means Hibs get 100% of the revenue?

Sounds more like it saying it'll be only Hibs fans in the suite.

It's the same quote Hibs use when advertising hospitality at Easter Road as they've now brought the hospitality in house so now all revenue from hospitality days at ER stay with Hibs.

However you may well be right as St Johnstone don't seem to be advertising any hospitality packages on their official site

Taking your own firewood is the best bet. If it runs out there's a ready supply of old wood in the character filled, atmospheric historically important stand. So take an axe as well. And an asbestos protective suit.

Should be a great social event so long as you avoid the toilets.

I don't think hospitality is advertised on Hibs website that would lead me to believe they are not getting the money from the catering side of this deal.

Surely the hospitality will be done by whoever has the contract for doing it at Hearts normally.

I personally couldn't think of anything worse than hospitality at the bus shelter - to sit a room which is most likely painted maroon covered in photos of that mob and to pay 99 quid for it!

I think £20 to sit in a maroon seat is bad enough (im still going though):greengrin

If the mere thought of coughing up turns your stomach, wait until you've sampled the catering.
