Doherty might have been an idiot but was a far better right back than we had for some time at that point.

Soares had some good moments too. The likes of him and O'Donovan played parts in getting to the cup final which whilst it lasted was still a decent run.

He joined Bury after us and they're now in League 1.

His record?... 113 apps and 28 goals.

Knew there was a player in there, albeit at League 1 level.

When?

Scored twice against Kilmarnock. Important assist as well in the cup.

He only played 10 games. It took Scott Allan at least that to get going.

He provided a bit more than Wotherspoon had been doing until then. His 2 goals in 10 compares pretty well to Wotherspoon's 7 in total.
