NEW YEARS DAY GAMES...Remember the special games for sure, great football ,overlapping fullbacks ,fast interchange, close ball control etc etc..Now what do we get ..players chasing same ball, getting each others way. deciding to play for 45 mins only ...
well that is a summary ..We see yet again a team lacking fire and drive and a powerful driving figure....devoid of a plan B when the predictable defence away team sets out its stall....
I want this team to get promoted by being champions but we need to up the player quality in at least 3 positions, effort is great but it needs far more than that.
We should not settle yet again for championship play off and all the uncertainty that means...anything can happen in these games, a daft referee decision etc etc..
We need now to get more quality in to add to the undoubted talent we have in about 70% of the team,
we have gone off the boil in recent weeks and it needs sorted now.
