He played well today, as shown by how we struggled to keep possession in midfield when he went off.

I like Bartley. He seems like a calming influence in the midfield when he's playing.

He had a reasonable game but his benefit to the team yesterday was most obviously seen when he went off. I thought we lost a bit of shape in midfield when he departed.

He has played at a decent level in his career and has something to offer. He would probably benefit with more game time.
