Amazing how the mind wanders on a quiet day. Just struck me.

First couple of matches of the season at Easter Road we were inundated with Seagulls. A real nuisance and distraction. Loads of them all over the place.

As far as I can see there is little or no seagull activity now. Pity, they've missed two cracking final few minutes in the last two matches.

Is the catering that bad or do we have an effective seagull control policy?

They'll be expecting just to fly back in for the semi no doubt.

They're away following Eric Cantona's metaphorical trawler.

No idea about the sea gulls.

However, I did see that Petrie's been running a stall in the run up to Christmas, selling 'quality game at unbelievable prices'.

They are only a real pest when rearing young. They need protecting and feeding. Still a pest at other times tho but less bolshi.

Wow. I had forgotten about the seagulls already. Did they not leave about the same time as we sold that guy to The Rangers?

Do seagulls fly south for the winter?

Aberdeen seems to be their holiday resort of choice.

Edit..that's north

You must have been engrossed in the match because there was loads circling over the stadium on Saturday...no dive bombers though.

Took the hint about wingers having no place at ER just now.

I've been having sleepless nights about the lack of seagulls.

Thankfully started a thread about it.

I don't miss them and the pies at ER are ok..though the catering prices, service and available selection is still scandalous !

I had a wee spy at the gulls just before kick off on Saturday, there was quite a few but they were hovering well above the stadium. It's a sure sign that this team now demands respect, and won't take no *****E from nobody.

They left when we got rid of yon centre half, Nelson.
