Don't know anything about him so not commenting. Does his arrival mean someone is leaving though?

Wonder if this spells the end for Anier if he's recalled?
Anyone know what sort of player he is?

Welcome to Hibs Chris.

I would imagine this spells the end for Feruz and possibly Farids chances of playing. Like previous posters have said, Anier could be getting recalled also?

Seen him a few times over his career at Rochdale and Barnsley and has generally impressed. Tends to average a goal every three games IIRC which isn't too shabby.

I read subject to international clearance, but in my mind I thought internal clear-out. Maybe a bit of both?

Seen him play for Rochdale in the past and was very impressed. 'Daggers' was a big hero down Spotland way. Am happy with this signing 😀

Is he available to play, or does he have to wait until January?

Backup to replace Feruz or Anier is my guess.

The punter's at his last club seem to rate him anyway!

http://leytonorientforum.co.uk/topic11059-40.html

My guess is a direct replacement for Feruz, but unlike him someone who could easily make himself a regular over the next few months.

Welcome to the family Daggers :flag:

It doesn't seem as if he will need to wait for the transfer window to open - just needs the international clearance - so, maybe available for 28th?

Some pretty quick updating here -

Anier is being recalled to Utd. Mixu wants all loan players back, as you would expect, to try and get them out the **** they're in. I also expect Feruz to go back to Chelsea. So another striker will be signed to make up for this. Welcome Craig... Give us your all!!

Shame. I've liked what I've seen of Anier so far

I'm sure MIxu does want everyone back.Doesn't mean he's able to get them.

Never heard of him but looks like a decent pedigree.

Good stuff getting some business done early.

I like Anier though so hopefully the recall ain't happening!

Asked a Tranmere fan about and he reckons he decent and more than capable of scoring in the championship up here.

Got told by someone that he is definitely being recalled in January.

Shame as I was impressed in his couple of appearances.

Spoke with a fan of his old club..

Great work rate and energy - finishing isn't the greatest. Not an out and out goal scorer but always gives 100%. But I think he will do well at Hibs and score goals.

Never heard of him but positive that a few decent posters are positive.
Arnier will be recalled to UTD (bad timing)
Feruz played his last for us imo (agree)
Stanton also (agree)
Farid imo won't play again (agree)
There's a bit of dollar there we need to utilise to the max & it ain't getting Max'd right now.

Hard decisions but ones I'd agree with to push us on !!

Ps I'm assuming he's coming in fit to play ?

The fans' forums of his former clubs make a good reading, that, alongside my trust of our current signing policy is enough to entice excitement. Welcome, Chris. :aok:

If he was getting the train here from London he'd be correct. A train going into London no matter which direction it has come from is described as "going up to London". Any train leaving London is "going down to...".

That's just wrong. Kinda thing that freaks me out.

Is that because Londoners see anywhere other than London as " downwards?"

My sis stays in London and she talks about us going down to see them and them coming up to see us for Christmas.
