January, during the transfer window, Hibs turned down a £400,000 bid for Riordan from Rangers, however bids from Lokomotiv Moscow and Kaiserslautern were accepted but were rejected by the player.

14th January, Steven Whittaker scored Hibs 6,000th league goal in a 1-2 defeat against Aberdeen at Easter Road.

6th March, Garry O’Connor was transferred to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow for a fee of £1.6m. It was reported that Garry donated his signing-on fee to the Hibs Youth.

June, Hibernian Ladies won the league for the second time, never losing and winning 20 out of their 22 game, they score 107 goals and conceding only 17 goals.

June, Derek Riordan signed for Celtic of a fee of £170,000, a reduced fee because his contact was due to expire in October.
