Spoty is a farce 3 awards to Northern Irish people just because it's in Belfast.

Great moment for him. Lovely speech too.

One of my all time favourite Hibs players (probably top 5) and would have been interesting to see how he would have done as our manager had he got the job.

Andy Murray wins the big one.

Clean sweep for the Hibees with Jamie Murray sharing the team award and as already mentioned O'Neill getting the coach award.

2nd time for Andy Murray, he could well be the first person to win it 3 times. :agree:

Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill and Henry Cooper, the others who've won it twice.

@mstewart_23: To think a senior Scottish football figure did him out of the Hibs job a few years ago....Sad really!!

Well deserved. He'll have a good bevvy tonight.

PS. If Michael Stewart, who I like by the way, is that honest then why not just come out and say who it was (Rod?) rather than the cryptic tweets.

"Did him out" of the job. WTF does that mean?

If real, what is sad is a washed up ex-Hearts player, politician and pundit saying such a thing rather than commending Michael O'Neil for his success. A totally anti- Hibs comment from an ex-player who wasn't good enough to run the midfield of Hibernian F.C. Best ignored.

Is it not the bevvy rumours?

Sure someone said Levein had something to say about it.

What a torn-faced tweet. Super achievement by N.Ireland and M.O'Neill, and I'm surprised, but delighted it's been rewarded. Strange take on a marvellous success.

I don't think that's anti Hibs at all, if anything he's showing his displeasure that someone robbed hibs of the chance of his services with rumours

Nah, he's fishing for "who" tweets with no plan to spill the beans. Just comes across as bitchy.

He's very likely referring to Potter (pals with Fenlon) and is suggesting it's unfortunate for Hibs and Scotland that he didn't get the job at the time, as proven by his success tonight.

Spoty is a farce 3 awards to Northern Irish people just because it's in Belfast.

The public vote for the winners so perhaps it stands to reason that those who live in NI were more invested in the outcome(s), naw..? Anyway, who won in your eyes just because they're from NI?

Are you saying Harry Potter started the rumour or have heard as such?

Mikey Stewart confirms it is Levein by favouriting a reply to his original Tweet.

I have no idea if Potter started the (or any) rumour, only that he's good friends with Fenlon and defo "recommended" him to Rod, which ultimately resulted in him getting the gig over MoN.

I done my early touches SFA badge with Michael O'Neill. Safe to say his career has moved on at a greater pace than mine. Still lives in Edinburgh.

As if Rod's charge sheet isn't long enough!

Speaking with Levein is, perhaps, unavoidable at times if you work in Scottish football. But listening to what he says is unforgivable.

Agree making decisions on the basis of it seems incredible. Could Levein be any more despicable?
