Couple of injury time incidents have ruined a few Christmas parties in Govan tonight I'll bet. Buckfast Abbey might never recover.

I said when we were 8 behind that we would win this league. I've absolutely no doubt now that we're going to.

Sevco won their first 11 league games & have won 2 out of their last 6. We lost 2 of our first 3 games & are unbeaten since, with only 2 draws. We've also won 3 cup ties since our last defeat which was also the last time we failed to score. Only one team has momentum but there's a long way to go & we now need to keep our concentration & energy levels high. Goals in added time in last 2 games has been a huge boost for us. Wonderful effort & team spirit.

In those 3 cup games 2 were against premier league sides in which one was an unbeaten top of the league Premiership side whereas Sevco played one and failed miserably

I've said to my mates and work colleagues (huns, hibees, jambos etc) that we would win the league all along. Had to put up with some stick when 11 points behind and I was still adamant that we will do it. Especially good to see the smiles wiped off my hun colleagues faces at the moment...

Season 14/15 - Hibs were 10 points behind The Rangers on 6th December - Hibs ended up 3 points ahead at season end.
Season 15/16 - Hibs were 11 points behind The Rangers on 27th September - Hibs now level on points at 19th December!!

There is a trend emerging. The The Rangers don't do front-running!!
