Hibs wanted it played the Tuesday after it was postponed ,
Morton didn't ,but why another date hasn't been agreed by now Nae idea .
I seem to recall last Season Rangers were allowed to wait months to play a couple of games that hadn't been played on the date due ,so maybe we now just sit it out and wait for a time when the weather should be better

No harm in waiting until the better weather at all...imagine rushing to play it and not gaining full points

Morton did us a favour.

Wanted to concentrate on their build up to the Rangers game.

Worked out quite well for them, and us.

they'll be hoping for a free Saturday so not as many get a refund

There's no guarantee of better weather though.

You're right but there is also no guarantee it will be as bad weather as last weekend either...chances are that the later in the season we play it, the more likely it is to be played in better conditions

There is no split to worry about so therefore not the same rush.

Morton seem to be in decent form so we should wait until their form dips before rearranging it :greengrin

Morton are no pushover at home.

There is a distinct possibility that we could drop points whenever the game is played.

Looking at it now it seems we could have avoided a really difficult game in horrible conditions.

Seems neither clubs can agree date so it will go to the SPFL board to find a suitable date.

Would rather play it later in season - better weather hopefully...larger away support and ideally Morton's form drops.

We have played them at home winning 1v0 on 15th August.

We play them away 23rd April (2nd last game of season).

What about the other home game ?

The other game was scheduled for League Cup Semi Final weekend so both a home and away fixture will need to be rearranged.

The thread title was designed to garner a suitably high number of reads/responses, sorry if it caused you any upset.
