Good player.

I'd be happy with that.

Think he would be a good addition, however i think it would depend on getting promoted as he left falkirk i believe to play at the top level. Also if true, we would be wise to get him in before the euros, if he plays well for N.I then he might attract bigger clubs down south

I thought you were referring to someone else completely!

The headline 'Hibs eye Northern Ireland's McGovern' would be enough to give most Hibs fans nightmares at first glance I'd imagine haha

It would give us an interest in the Euro's if he signed, wouldn't be a bad signing IMO

Good signing and would put pressure on Oxley for the no.1 jersey.

Shown he's a decent keeper. However Oxley has really upped his game since Ibrox and has pulled of some game changing saves. I have no problem with him keeping the Number 1 jersey and I doubt McGovern would want to come to the championship to be second choice. Also what about Reguero?

Goalkeeping isn't a department we need to punt another wage into imo.

The last N/I "goalkeeper" I can mind at ER was one Roddy McKenzie. Made Zibby look like Gordon Banks.

He was the Falkirk goalie in the 4-3 semi final wasnt he?

Must have got better since then.

I cant think of any goal in the that game where he was at fault, maybe the first, but it did take a deflection

Am going to wait till hibs, not the MSM say it. Can just see the headline if nothing happens.

Just read the article and it was suggesting it may well be a pre-contract agreement with him joining for next season rather than in January. Reguero's contract is up at the end of the season so perhaps seen as a possible replacement for him for next season

Yes, sounds like a possible pre-season agreement in January.

Definitely the first flapped it into the net, possibly the third also. Thought he looked a bit ropey however have seen games where he has looked ok.
