Surprised it was a song a 'long time in the making' unless they mean the near three hundred years since Pachelbel wrote the tune ;)

I think that was in the venue which is now the cav. I was at that gig.

No, the Network was on Semple street next to the old Fat Sams with Network 2 upstairs.

There was a long running feud between The Farm and the CCS. IIRC they exchanged letters in (I think) FHM arguing about who was responsible for the casual style of the day. It came to a head at the Coasters gig mentioned above and kicked off during and after. The casuals stormed the stage door and fought with the crew in the street.
There was also a massive barney a few years later when The Farm supported Madness at Ingleston. Not sure if that was connected or just a CCS/Skins rammy but it was absolutely mental before Madness came on. The gig was announced as cancelled then Madness came out and played a very short set in front a few hundred punters meaning no refunds were issued.
