Just read the Scotsman report on the Rangers game and seemingly Waghorn was booked for diving in the box in the final moments of the game. We often accuse Referee's of being biased towards Rangers and there must have been plenty of pressure from the Rangers team, bench and fans to give a spot kick, but he had the balls to book Waghorn and deny them the penalty. Fair play to George Salmond.

Apparently Livi player was through on goal bundled over but nothing given.

Will need to join the Ref Relocation Program.

Yup. Rob Maclean was calling for a potential penalty but others on Twitter were clear that Wagfart blatantly dived.

Warburton (I am not panicking honest) said he has no Plan B but diving in the box in the last few minutes has always been a good alternative for the Huns when they are not winning.

No surprise Waghorn tried to cheat and con the referee into giving a penalty. Expect more of that from sevco as they become more desperate to win games at all cost.

Top marks to the referee. Many would have given it I suspect. It's time this particular form of cheating is punished with a straight red card.

...and your trivia question. At what sport did George Salmond captain Scotland?

Apparently the ref a Dermot Daniel O'Flaherty refused to speak to the manager after the game.......

Ref only did what he was paid to do. Says everything about Scottish football that a ref gets praised for actually not giving a penalty to the new club.

Waghorn's been picking up a few bookings. Let's hope that mounts up in time for our trip to Castle Greyskull.

Waghorn apparently thought his contract said a pen had to be given if a Sevco player went down anywhere in the opposition half! Don't mention contracts!

Credit where it's due, a good call. But then again, apparently Livi should have had a pen.

Salmond is a fair runner too. Often see him at 10ks, half marathons and marathons. Round about 3.15 for the marathon I think.

Not too shabby!

Whether it's this referee or not, non of us would have been overly shocked if the Rangers had been given a last minute penalty.

Here in lies the problems in our game

It didn't take Smeghorn long to figure out the huns get penalties for going down in injury time.

That's only his second in the league. Wallace is closest to suspension, same as Lewis, with 4 bookings.

:agree: He'll probably be seen at a North Korea style "re-education" camp by next week.

Roughly how many triggers a ban, although I know each booking can get different points

I seen the tail end of this game on Rangers TV

Would've been a shocker if it was given - blatant blatant dive

Ofcourse the RTV commentator - while agreeing it was a dive said "ye cant really blame him for trying to win us a penalty...."

Simple... He plays for Der Hun. The CO didn't even look at it!

Agreed, well done to the guy.

Looks like not every Ref is going to give in to DerHun

I played against him many times. An arrogant, obnoxious wee prick on the cricket field. Pretty good football ref though!!

Expect plenty of this from them. Fair play to the referee, many would have bottled it under the pressure and just gave them it.

Desperate ****ers.

He couldn't really give it even if he wanted too. Blatant dive. one of the worst I've seen actually. See below.

MacDonald's probably been coaching him. Bobby Davidson would have given that back in the day.
