Season 1973-74
4th August, Hibs retained their hold on the Drybrough Cup after beating Rangers 2-1 in the semis and Celtic 1-0 in the final, Alan Gordon scoring the winner.
31st January, Turnbull signed Joe Harper from Everton for £120,000
February, Jimmy O’Rourke scored 16 goals in a two month period which covered 11 games.
May, Hibs ended the season in second place behind Celtic.
