Largely because they probably believe science will come up with a solution...and looking at the progress in biotech I think they are probably correct.

Looking at this from a religious point of view, and admittedly im no expert in the evolution theory, would this not prove that evolution is indeed how we ended up here? If science has proven that an organism has successfully evolved to basically survive its surroundings then to me it seems pretty damning that darwin was indeed correct :confused:

I've made a similar point before using viruses as an example. It's not coincedence that viruses that habitually infect humans do best somewhere between 36 and 38 degrees and the bodies natural recation when faced with one is to heat up by way of a fever.

Sadly I agree. I've a lot of friends from the Bible Belt in the US. They have some interesting views!
