Aside from when the were beaten finalists obviously, there's a good few first and second round Scottish Cup exits in the last sixties and seventies.

Tough draws and lots of good teams about, shock defeats or Hibs not at the races?

Jeez what a memory jogger, the only games my wee group missed were the glamour match at East Fife and the away European ties - never knew where Europe was, or Fife for that matter.

Dreamt we would win the Cup Winners Cup that season. League cup win was brilliant although I was in the Celtic end of the ground when most Hibees were in the Rangers end and identifiable by the bank of white flags. (Celtic flags were yellow). Tynecastle on 1st January could only have been better by getting more than 7. Very happy memories.

I had to bid for the last home game of the season "shirt of the back" from a certain LA Galaxy player. How can a Hibs guy watching a number 9 called Alan Gordon not have memories of that game! :greengrin
