Was hoping Feruz would play. It's like he's deemed too good for this level as he never plays

All built like desperate Dan apparently.

Is this a strong Hibs U20 team?

A mixture of strong players, eg first team experience and very young lads

Crane broke a metatarsal in his left foot a few months ago

I think it's Jordan Sinclair as I don't know of any other Sinclair in the squad. Good to see him back after his shoulder injury

My understanding is that he believes he's too good...

I would expect an announcement soon advising that he is returning to his parent club and wishing him well in his future career.

W
based on his limited first team game time to date he isn't going to get picked ahead of Cummings Keatings or Malonga ,so he should be trying to impress in the Development Squadd to try and force his way into first team

If he was our player for keeps, I think he would be away out on loan.

He didn't make the best of starts for himself and that possibly influenced the way things have subsequently panned out.

He's probably got more chance of a game for Chelsea than with us, the way things are going.:greengrin

Not one of the best games if I'm honest, slightly better 2nd half. Cracking goal in the 1st half settled it. Hibs had a bit more possession 2nd half, but didn't create too much, bar the odd pop at goal. Hearts have some really big players at this age. Their centre half, left back and centre forward were huge

Sums it up for me pretty much, thought Dan Carmichael looked lively for us, he was fouled / drew free kicks all night. Scrappy at times but a draw would've been a fair result IMO.

Carmichael looked sharp but other than that I thought it was a poor game

Nope and if we could cancel our loan right now I would do it.

I would question any player that Dundee Utd currently feel is surplus to requirements [emoji15]

Thought he looked not to bad tonight considering he hasn't played a lot of football and had 1 decent chance and saved onto the post.

I agree, but unfair to judge him on 58 mins, considering he hadn't played a game this season for anyone.
Give him 2/3 games and then make a decision on him

First development game back would be the time to judge right enough!

I think you'll find the question was:

"Did Anier look like he will offer anything?"

On that performance, no he did not.

Did Anier look like he'll offer anything?

Stubbs was talking him up in the EEN this week, he must think he's got something to offer.

By the same token, we emptied a couple of loanees last January and Anier won't get endless opportunities to prove himself.
