Joining East Fife on an emergency loan until 5th December. Should be a good short term move for him

Good move. Did well yesterday but good to get 'competitive' games where it really matters.

They play East Stirlingshire on the 14th, on the Saturday that our fixture against Livi has been rescheduled. Might pop up to Methil to see how he gets on; I’m assuming he’ll get a run out given it’s an emergency loan.

Based on yesterday, I think he is fit enough. Just think it's another stage of his development.

Arf! Same. I only pass on what I'm told. That or the 100% truth. Some times it comes off, sometimes not. That's football mate.

Anybody who is in the know at Hibs will tell you that this loan move to East Fife has been on the cards for Insall, way before he even signed terms for us.

I heard it was a condition of his mother's pregnancy during Insall's early embryonic stage of development that loan terms were to be agreed with East Fife. "We'll hae that durty wee hoor fir a spell" the black-and-gold-scarfed pediatrician declared during the first ultrasound.

This isn't gossip-related but can there be any other instance of two teams playing each other where both names start and end with the same letter?

East Fife v East Stirlingshire

One letter, four times, at the start and end of both teams' name - triviatastic and definitely more complicated :greengrin

I've seen East Fife a couple of times this season. Up front they have Nathan Austin. Great pace and capable of scoring but also drifts out of games sometimes.

problem with Austin is East Fife often play him up front on his own. Was funnily enough saying the last time I was there Austin would clearly benefit playing alongside another striker, you could see him being capable of beating defenders and getting himself into good positions for him or his strike partner whereas just now he's doing it by himself.

Good luck Jamie. Not a bad set up at East Fife just now, could benefit him.
