Season 1956-57
Hibs started the season poorly and only won one out of their first seventeen competitive games, a 6-1 league victory over Falkirk, (the ‘Bairns’ had beaten them twice only a few weeks earlier in the League Cup in the group stages).
23rd March, Hibs played the first floodlit league match at Easter Road; they beat East Fife 4-0.
