2-1 Hibs

Come from behind victory. Cummings and Boyle scorers after going behind in first half. Physical in your faces approach from us with Gray and McGinn in particular winding them up.

Crowd: 15.412

Title race ON.

Warburton sick and very defensive afterwards about so called lack of protection on his flair players.

Media backing Der The Hun and either crowing about being right or complaining about the wrong result. Our team will show up and compete tomorrow. Whether its a fair fight is out of their hands.

1-3 Sevco might be struggling in off-field matters but they've got it under control where it counts. I can't see us getting anything from the game, unfortunately.

On the contrary, after more than a few nippy sweeties we're going to win 3-0. It's a certainty!

Well I'll be positive unlike some, we've learnt how to have a stronger mind set in recent weeks, so I'm going for a 2-0 win, goal either half and the defence to stay strong.

Remember after winning three on the trot last season , when McCall brought The Rangers to ER the only question was how many we would win by. Anyone who suggested other was likely to miss the game as a consequence of drowning in their mattress. Wouldn't surprise me if it is one each and that would not be the end of the world.

Why is Jim44 getting a hard time for answering the OP question? If i say 50-0 to us, does that make me a good positive poster? I think we will win, maybe by the odd goal, this thread was asking for our predictions. I can understand Jim's view too.

It's The Rangers biggest game this season. Only game comparable to this is their game against St Johnstone. The Perth Saintees have stuffed Aberdeen this season. So have we. I predict much greeting into buckie bottles in about fourteen hours from now, and that's just the meeja.

YES, so can I. Wrong time though, 9.30 tomorrow morning and there's more chance that reality will kick in!

I actually think this game could be a 0-0, neither team will want to lose it, and as a result it could play out in a negative manner. It's all about what manager is the better tactician.

:agree:

However, there's no need to delete it because some of us are fired up and questioning negativity. Come on Jim, if that's the way you feel then get it back up.

Personally, I think it will be a draw. We will dominate and score but they will fluke a goal somehow.

I don't believe for a minute we will lose this as we are better than them.

because those that can't remove the green-tinted specs find it hard to accept anyone thinking differently from them, some posters even think negativity on an internet forum actually spreads to the team on the park...HONEST they really do :faf: not sure how it's done though, telepathically maybe :dunno: the players have the ability to read supporters minds :greengrin

If you look back at our earlier game at Ibrox, we should/could easily win the game 3-0. Let's just hope we take our chances this time around. C'mon the cabbage .

Well if your prediction is right we will be We have improved as a team since they last beat us Third time lucky for me providing we handle the pressure and they don't get a pen or score one of those Tavernier free kicks
Lewis to open his account and McGregor to score against his old team with thumping header

If we get an early goal I think we can win this by a good few. Apart from St Johnstone no-one has really tested them this season.

We need a strong referee though.

I'd like us to win convincingly by 3-0, but I expect Rangers to win, maybe 0-2.
3 points an absolute must if any league title aspirations are to be kept alive ... no 2 ways about it.

Heart says Hibs, but looking at it objectively a draw is a distinct probability.

I have backed Hibs to win and draw......either of these results means I am making a net profit.

Or looking at it in reverse, I'm betting against a Huns victory.

Hibs 3 (Oxley 12, Oxley 40, Oxley 75)
The Rangers 4 (Mason pen 95, Mason pen 96, Mason pen 97, Mason pen 98)

Ffs - oxley lets in 4 penalties - at least 2 retakes in there.

I don't usually try to predict the scores for games like this because it's pointless, and I'm usually wrong anyway.

Quite often in the past, games against the Ibrox club have hinged on poor refereeing decisions (throughout the game) and Hibs are frequently on the wrong end of these decisions. We only have to look back at the last time Hibs played at Ibrox. The game was lost because of a terrible refereeing decision in the Ibrox club's favour.

That said, FWIW I think a draw wouldn't be the end of the world. If Hibs lose though, they have to pick themselves up straight away, and make sure they get second place if they can't catch them. That would be a huge task because there's nobody else in this league that looks like they could beat newco.

Our biggest enemy today could be Masonic bawbaggery, an early red and we're ducked, the Huns are 11 points clear and the powers that be are guaranteed £millions of revenue from the return of the old firm circus.

But I still think 3-0 Hibs, and I'll be going to the bookies to reinforce this in a minute as well :flag:

Hibs to lead 4-0 (Malonga 18, Henderson 21, McGinn 37, Malonga 44) before the game is abandoned at half time when Sevco supporters report a suspicious object in the Dunbar end toilets to the police.

Their panic is justified when the object is later identified as a bar of soap.
