"Please remember that supporters have to purchase tickets in advance from the Hibernian Ticket Office – there will be no pay-at-the-gate option available at Falkirk."

Are the clubs actively trying to discourage people from going to games?

Falkirk appear to be doing this, stupid in this day and age, unless they are so wealthy that they don't need extra funds?

Really makes no sense at all.

Would be surprised if it's Falkirk's decision, more likely police advice

Can't be our wonderful Police service? We sell tickets up until kick-off as do other Clubs?

Is this not classed as a category A game for Falkirk. I presume we can't sell tickets to away fans on the day either, for cat A games?

these things are bureaucracy gone mad....there is no reason that tomorrows night game isn't pay at the gate....would get many more fans in..and create a much better atmosphere...

Modern football stinks at times...this is another small example

Not sure it is (a fair point that is). Category A in respect of a bigger crowd but the police should look on this as no more trouble than the return fixture where tickets can be sold right up to kick off.

What are they realistically expecting to happen with these extra walk up fans? Be lucky if there's 100 extra going through.

Total farce. More risk of trouble with Hibs fans being in their end than some more in ours.

It's a crazy decision regardless of who made it.

It's unlikely that the ground will be half full tomorrow so to stop people going along at the last minute and paying to get in is just ridiculous.
