View Full Version : Hibs v Livingston in doubt or we lose 2 of our starters?

The Hibs game v Livingston on 14 November is being played the day after the Scotland U21s play a qualifier at St Mirren.

It is likely Jason Cummings and John McGinn will be called up. If we lose another player we can postpone the game.

If not we are likely to lose 2 of our regular starting 11. Should we do a The Rangers and say we want our players back thus denying these guys a cap or just bite the bullet?

We should do what is best for Hibs and that means trying to get the players back/left out. Don't think the SFA will be particularly helpful though.

As long as we don't have another injury crisis then it shouldn't pose any problems anyway.

I think there is every chance this will get postponed. Also for fife hibbys like myself this would suit me. The bridge is closed that weekend.

If everyone is fit we should have enough to tuck them away.

What about Malonga? Will he not have a game as well.

Game should go ahead, we have plenty of cover and dont want a backlog of games.

Don't think we can withhold players. U-21 is an official UEFA/FIFA age group. Should be looking for a postponement of it suits Hibs.

Surely SFA set a precedent by allowing that The Rangers player to come home to sit on the bench against Raith.

Which Congo does he play for?

DR Congo have a number of games coming up which is worrying.

By the way who is the naughty boy who described his goal on Wiki?

Given that the league teams feed the national teams and not the other way around, could the SFA not look to rearrange the U21 game, or is that not allowed. ?

Why do we schedule games during the international break?

International games take precedence over clubs. Notice the U19s are also in action that weekend.

So as it stands the game is on, can't think of anyone else who may get called up other than Henderson

Scott Martin for the 19s?

That's the reason we got the Falkirk game off.

Do we have any U19s? If there is one of them we could call it off.

There is a lot of nonsense on wikipedia but the description of Dom's goal is 100% factually correct.
