Two rumours doing the rounds on Twitter - I'm presuming the first of which is true and the second a piss take. The first being that he's going to replace WGS, which I'd be very happy with. The other being that he had an affair with Ash Taylor's wife!

What's everybody's thoughts on him potentially replacing Strachan?

I'd take him over Strachan If I'm honest.

Anyone taking over the Scotland job now has about a year before the next meaningful match. I'd have thought McInnes still wants the day-to-day involvement of club management.

Has shown nothing which indicates he could be an international manager.

Either did Harry Potter yet he still got it! Young ambitious manager could be what we need. Either way something has to change in the Scotland set up sick to death of the same dead wood players. Start bleeding more of the young lads.

The affair rumour's interesting - maybe the dressing room have gone against him. They've been in a real downer recently.

Was there not a similar rumour about McIness having an affair or something at St Johnstone?

Edit: It was Steve Lomas, not McIness and something to do with harrassment of a secretary.

Are you sure it wasn't the St Johnstone tea lady?
