Apologies if it's been posted on here already, and I've missed it, but was saddened to hear of Jim Diamond's death at the age of 64. Can remember Jim on the bill at the original Hands Off Hibs concert in the Usher Hall all those years ago. It was greatly appreciated at the time. Good on him.
Condolences to Jim's family and friends.
RIP

Yeh, I remember that well. Also 'I won't Let You Down', a song that a lot of people will remember too. RIP.
Heard this earlier today, sad loss to Scottish music, says he died suddenly at his London home, so no long term illness problems, only 64 too.

I was sad to hear of his death too, was surprised that he had his first hits in the early 80's, i would have thought it was before as he was such a part of the music scene when i was young. R.I.P Jim.

I remember there was a few moans and groans when he came on around me (folk were obviously more interested to hear what STF had to say) but he had the place rocking with hi ho silver and stole the night for me, a gentleman and a great singer, RIP Jim.
