Was fortunate to see them both in a Hibs jersey, although only met Joe, the younger.

To this day I still maintain that Hibs avoided relegation one season in the early 60's due to two people, Ronnie Simpson saving us at one end, while Gerry Baker popped them in at the other end.

Only met Gerry a few times and he was very critical of his own ability and gave the impression he should have achieved more
