Great result today, i wasn't sure how we'd do so to win so convincingly is fantastic.

Delighted that we got an early goal as well, when we do that it suits our style of play and it's no surprise that we went on to score two more.

Second goal was really well worked and the third was fantastic work by Lewis Stevenson to win the ball near the half way line, superb run down to the byeline and then a good ball into the box for Boyle who had a nice finish.

All in all it was a really good day.

Very polished performance. It's obviously been a banana skin in the past but the early goal certainly dispelled any lingering nerves and we never really looked in any danger. Well done all round.

On a personal note, it made a nice change to be home by 7.15!

An enjoyable afternoon all round. Early goal setting the tone and pretty comfortable from then on. Could have added a couple more but three will more than do. Fine weather and probably the most scenic away day drive this season - Peebles to Moffat via The Devils Beeftub then on to Dumfries.

Great drive when the weather's nice, I've done the same route a few times to Palmerston and it's ace, especially the view down to Moffat at the summit. Makes it even better when we get a result like today :greengrin

I thought it was a great result today. First half Hibs were different class and could have been 3 or 4 up.

My only concern is why sit so deep 2nd half when we were best team by a mile? The 3rd was a great goal though.

Worth the drive up from Yorkshire.

On Open All Mikes Derek Ferguson was praising Hibs football in the first half especially. Said we mixed the attack short and long and dominated the midfield.

Think the third goal (and the second, in fairness) answer that question. For once we've got lightning pace on the break, saw drawing Queens forward gave us the space to get in behind them on the counter attack.

Interesting to see Hibernian FC so well represented b4 the last train back from Carlisle. Cumbrias finest were in all sorts.

They're all well worked goals - and in the highlights the ball is never more than a foot off the deck. :top marks

Mixing it up, I like it. Good stuff Hibs!
