Season 1923-24
19th April, Hibs again reached the Scottish Cup final after beating Dundee United, Alloa (after a replay), Rangers, Partick Thistle (after two replays) and Aberdeen (also after two replays) but lost to Airdrie 2-0 in the final at Ibrox in front of a crowd of 59,218. (Gate receipts of £2,046 exclusive of tax).
Hibs Team- Harper, McGinnigle, Dornan, Kerr, Miller, Shaw, Ritchie, Dunn, McCall, Halligan, Walker.
Hibs took the decision to scrap their reserve team.
June, Hibs undertook a tour of Austria and Germany.
