I've been utterly aghast listening to some of the comments that have been coming from seemingly 'highly-supported' candidates for the Republican Presidential nominations.

The most recent of them being Ben Carson's comments that a Muslim should not be allowed to be President of the United States...

Where on Earth does a black man get off trying to enforce discrimination against a marginalized community? Given the years of angst and terror his ancestors faced in the United States during times of slavery, and continued persecution the black community in the US continue to face from some quarters, doesn't he see that his stance is totally at loggerheads with all the Civil Rights movement achieved?!

And don't even get me started on [censored] Trump - it amazes me that people sought to assassinate JFK yet these truly scary individuals appear to garner widespread support from a baying public.

Land of the Free indeed...unless of course you're black, gay, female, Muslim, atheist, Buddhist, etc etc.

I liked Ben Carson until he came out with that tripe about a Muslim President, honestly I dislike Clinton but FFS I'd take ANY Democratic candidate over the GOP's.
