Season 1906-07
Another poor season and again finished 11th in the league. They did a bit better in the Scottish Cup, after beating Forfar Athletic 5-0 in the first round, they needed a replay against Johnstone before beating them 5-0, in the quarter–finals it required two replays before they beat St Mirren 2-0. In the semi-final they met Celtic three times before ‘the Hoops’ won 3-0. Celtic went on to beat Hearts 3-0 in the final.
