Nice interview.
Cant help thinking the one thing this lad has on his side is the fact that this opportunity has come at a time where he must have been beginning to think his chance to turn pro had gone. Chances are he will appreciate it more than kids who have been in the system since they were in primary school.
What a great story it would be if he could establish himself in the team and even better end up in the Premiership with it.

That means he would have to score about 40 goals for us before he is noticed. Here's hoping.

Did Darren Jackson not start playing professional football quite late? Never did him any harm.
Sounds like this guy knows where the back of the net is and having done a few years proper work will do him the world of good.

He was part time with Meadowbank when he was 18.
