3 yr deal as well. Stubbs must be impressed and think he can develop into a first team player.

I'm delighted he's signed. He's one of these guys who could turn out to be a right good player.

He'll be thrilled be at Hibs, living the dream of a full-time footballer, and giving 100%. If he succeeds, potential to be a hero to the fans. Hope it works out for him.

I agree, and its great to see someone hang in there and keep trying to get his break...I noticed Ian wright was turning 22 when he signed his first pro contract...he had not a bad career

I like his comments. seems determined to make it, now that he is full time with a fairly big club compared to what he is used to. hope it works well for him and Hibernian. a 3 year deal is not bad, for someone plucked from obscurity and Stubbs must see something good in this laddie

Decent article about him there

Except that he's signed a 3 year deal, not a 1 year deal.

Sounds like quite a non traditional history vs. the usual path to a footballing career. Looking forward to seeing his raw energy putting the jeepers up some of the cloggers in this division

If Jamie links up with Farid will it be 'adding Insall to injury?'

Out of our 3 signings yesterday. I'm hoping Jamie does well out of them most.

He comes across as quite eloquent on the Hibs TV interview. Really looking forward to seeing him progress.

I love signings like this, it's a refreshing change from the sort of signings we usually make (not that I have a problem with them). To get an unknown, plucked from obscurity, with no Youtube montage etc, but instead just raw potential... it's brilliant.

I'm genuinely excited to see how he does. It's a massive step up and I'm glad we've taken a chance on the boy, so I really hope it pays off for all concerned.

Good luck to him, it's a huge step up for him and it's a massive opportunity.

I won't be expecting much from him for a while at least and I think he'll spend a bit of time in the Development Squad before he's considered for the first team so I just hope no-one writes him off just because they don't see him for the first few months.

Stubbs and the rest of the coaching staff must have seen something really positive to make them offer him a three year deal though.

Best of luck Jamie. :aok:

Where is this one getting played as if in glasgow might be tempted to go along in case Feruz also gets a run out

It's at Ainslie Park, no ko time yet, but frustrating for me that we don't know when it will start less than a week before the game

Me too Jonnyboy, wish they would give us more notice. Took it up with one of the fans reps 2 weeks ago, and was promised that they would give us better notification

105 goals in 94 games . He certainly knows how to put the ball in the back of the net .
We have certainly added goals to the team this window .

You would think with being on trial for a month he has already progressed and learned quite a bit.

Quite a stocky lad and I'm sure stubbs will give him a chance as soon as he is match fit. 3 year contract so obviously has high hopes

People are saying he will be a development striker, he is 22 and will be there to get sharp, he will be training and playing with the view of first team.

May have been said before but for chuff sake can we get someone to interview him with a bit passion and personality sounded like a dour script on the video interview.

Yes I know there has been movement by surlry we could get someone to be more enthusiastic.

Interview in the EEN with his old manager.

Nice to see we are doing thing right at Hibs, seems Stubbs himself picked him up from the Waverley when he came up for a trial game.
